Just back from Zouk's Halloween Party: Lair of the Damned.

My feet are indescribably numb from all that dancing; my ears are half-deaf from all that pounding music and yelling, and my back is aching from jiving just a lil too much.

But I had yet another exhilarating blast with my girls. Zouk never fails to give the best and most outrageous parties for Halloween, I dun ever think that MOS nor St James Power House(or was it Power Station?) can compare.

'Plus... I looked HOOOT (if i may say so myself, winkwink). I went a Moulin Rouge cabaret girl.

Pics to come soon! Peace out!

Yes Yes and yes!

It is finally here, the much hyped, much awaited movie, 'Factory Girl'!
Had watched the trailer about 2 months ago, and while I do not like sienna miller all that much, the late Andy Warhol (who had probably single handedly brought about the pop art revolution) and iconic (albeit tragic ) socialite Edie Sedgwick had caused waves in the entertainment scene during the late 60s.

A match made in glam heaven or just a disaster waiting to happen?

Go catch the show guys, I'm not even going to spoil the synopsis for you. ^^

~~~
I'm needing a job now, but....so bloody sian to work. To cut a long story short, persistent job agents are running my temper short. Can you believe that they had the nerve to call me at 8 plus in the morning?!
Not only that, they kinda told me to my face, that I'm kinda at a disadvantage when looking for jobs because my diploma is from a private University, MDIS. All I can say is:
WTF.
Honestly, how does a diploma in a non-government discipline make me any different from others?
I mean, think about it. Annabelle Chong came from a recognized University, and look how she turned out. And not too long back, we have heard glorious tales of normal academic and normal technical students scoring straight As for their cambridge O's, splashed over the front pages of local papers.
If that isn't the purest example of 'it-isn't-the-goddamn-school-that-maketh-the-student', then I dunno what is. -_-
"I love you...
I have loved you all along
And I miss you...
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming you'll be with me
and you'll never go,
Stop breathing if
I don't see you anymore...
On my knees, I'll ask,
Last chance for one last dance
'Cause with you, I'd withstand
All of hell to hold your hand
I'd give it all ,I'd give for us
Give anything but I won't give up
'Cause you know...
That I love you,
I love you all along
And I'll forgive you
For being away for far too long."
Darling, I miss u.
But we'll tide through this, together.
simply because..I love you.
Today I was asked why is my blog in a state of stagnancy for the longest time, and so here I am.
Didn't think that anyone still reads it, but kinda flattered when I find out that some of you guys still do.
So...*coughthankscough*. :P
Been busy with my TV production internship for the last few months, and while like most of my other jobs, it did have its ups and downs (abyss, really).
It's really because of great collaugues like Jessie, Yilin and Sue that really make my day, and the mundane-ness of administrative work feel a little lesser.
Working with the kids were fun too, except sometime when its gets out of hand...you kinda just wanna throw 'em little buggers outta the window.
But I couldn't have asked for a better opportunity to learn more about the vast industry of the media. I adore my directors and kinda feel bad since they're always so forgiving to my all-too-often cockups.
Sigh....*dun even ask*.
And on top of that, my baby had officially left me to become a man (read: army, NS)on Thursday, 13/9/2007. Along with my best friend,can you BELIEVE that? Double whammy la!
So I guess I'm what they call an 'NS widow' at the moment.
Not meaning to sound overly-needy/sickeningly love-sick...but I miss him soooo very much. The lonliness can be too much sometimes, and not hearing his voice as and when I wanted (like before) make me learn to treasure his presence so much more. I guess we are both learning how to cherish the far and little free time we have for each other so much more.
I'm sure we will work it out at the very end. No tragic endings for this one! Gan Batte!
~~~

Ok few short note of randomness since Im lazy:
-Yes my dear April... will upload ye DAMNED pics very soon.
-I want to go do some retail therapy...been sooooooo repressed.??!!!

-AND OMG. talk about a bolt out of the blue....SHERRY ONG has a blog now?!
lol babe, its been long overdued.

Hows everyone been?
Not running amok and losing half your toes in some insane clubbing night I hope. >:)

God there so many things I wanna say, I can't even comprehend WHERE to begin.
Ok, lets start with the lingo that I speak more often then not, these days.

W.O.R.K: Yes, sad to say. The new 'driving' force in my life, the actual reason for my breakout of a multitude of zits and why le Boyfriend is feeling all too left out. Je'taime, baby, I still do ks?
I love my company that me being a receptionist, i dun belong to a one singular department, and everyone comes to me for all kinds of reasons.

Perhaps its because I have too attractive/alluring a presence?

Or maybe its the fact that I hold the only key to the stationary cabinet. Got you there didn't I?
Well what ever the reasons, I do enjoy getting blanja-ed ever so often.

Many of my colleagues are of different nationalities, so its really interesting to just observe them.
Megumi and Kensuke are the sweetest people, not to mention, very unlike what I had in mind of typical poised and prim Japanese folks. :}
Or Michael (Icelandic) who still owes me a Mac sausage muffin, and sweet Sophie who teaches me a phrase of French everyday. She is as chic as her fellow Parisans come.

In all honesty, work comes in shitloads everyday, but heck, I think I maybe loving it a bit more everyday. P

```
Im being kinda lazy at the moment, will be uploading crazy ass photos soon.
Ciao ye bitches!
So the weekend if here yet again, thats something to be happy about.
My work had struck a whole new low yesterday so today is most welcome. (dun ask, it jus sucked ass big-time.)
Today was just about spending some well-needed quality time with the boyfriend, and we manged to catch half of "200 Pound Beauty" at Carl's place.
*can't even afford a movie ticket..haiyo*
Its just SUCHHH a bitch when you're broke through and through eh? This coming one week to my pay is seeming so near yet so far.
Tomorrow heralds yet another homogenous week of hectic deadlines,bossy ang-mohs,an overwhelming barrage of flight itinearies and non-stop courier mailing.
Ladies and gentlemen..."Welcome to my Life".
*cue the Simple Plan song of the same name*
And kindly fuck off if your gonna say how come got Mass Comm Diploma, rather go and become a receptionist. Cos before I could even explain my case, about 5 people hv already began dissing.
(Tess,NOT you dearie. Dun get me wrong. You cared enough to quarrel with me and I thank you for that babe.:D)
Yesterday was great; finally some alone time with the boyfriend...tho it was fucked up near the end. I bought like a wire cutter and some ear-hooks for my Mother's Day project when somehow I manage to lose it along the way home. The stupidest thing abput it was that I can't even identify where I could have possibly have lost it.
That and plus me behaving like a menopausal bitch. Making a scene and venting my anger at Justin was immature and shameful of me.
Sorry hon. I know you never take these to heart but I still feel bad. You're the one person I love and need the most; and yet also the one who I hurt most too.
Im glad and somewhat amazed/touched that you actually willingly take all this BS from me and still love me indifferently.
Ok back to business, and I do mean business. Even on this Sunday, I am not spared. I actually quite like my job even tho it proves difficult at times. Especially when I have to create flight itineary, and i keep coming across weird locations and funny street names.
Like...wTF is Cayman Islands? Somewhere in Timbaktu???!!
OR, Canada and USA are not the same country??!!
Whats with naming every single nook and cranny street, ahhhhhh~~~~~~~~~! *faints*
Will i survive the working life? Stay tuned.
