My fifth time with Flea Fly Flo Fun struck the motherlode, and I manage to hit the 3 digit mark finally! Thank you Connie, Menaka, Vishali (Mena's friend), Dominic (Connie's hubby) and my ever doting boyfren Justin for all the help, it was a great success and we sure as hell had fun.
I had 2 huge luggages, a picinic basket which housed my shoe collection for sale and the quintessential Ikea hanger rack. The weather was inhumanely humid but we manage to get one of the best spots and set up stall in record timing. The crowd trickled in the beginning, but later picked up momentum in the evening.
Thanks dude!
Apologies to all for my neurotic-ness, I tend to fuss over the smallest details :P Throw in a faulty luggage and items on a disappearing act, its no wonder too haha. Thank you all for making the flea such a smashing success. Till the next!

Movie Review I : Star Trek
Star Trek was initially a back up choice between what few movie timings that GV was offering. As usual, the film gods did not give us their blessings. *rolls eyes*
What is a action Sci-fi film without its standard topnotch special effects?
Just minutes into the show, it had me at the edge of my seat as I watched a tintillating space battle unfold, and embarassing felt floodgates give when Kirk's (the main character) father sacrifice himself to save his people from total annihilation.
Hello and hurray to modern remakes! Star Trek 2009 gets a makeover with a hot stellar cast, and throw in catchy scripts and funny punchlines, you have a winning formula for getting into the hearts of non-sci-fi nerds.
HOLY mother, modern Spock (1st from left) looks like good enough to eat.

Movie Review II: X-Men Origins, Wolverine
Hello, a peek into the life of the mysterious (and definitely the most drool-worthy) X-man?
Count me in on that piece of hotness. Heartthroooooooooooooooooob Hugh Jackman reprises his undeniable role as Wolverine, feral (sex-god) mutant with indestructable adamantiaum claws. The film traces back to when he was just a teenager unsure of his powers and how he came to be the rugged hero with a dark past.
We also had a chance to see his brother, Sabertooth, acted by talented Liev Schreiber. Seems like the hotness genes runs in the family. FYI, he's the hubby to Naomi Watts. Niceeee.
If you are a Marvel Comic fan, you may not like this as much. The pace of the movie was relatively slow, taking time to focus more on Logan's anguish and uncertainty on whether to stand on side of mutants or humans. Fight choreography was superb and hardcore, but again, it would have been nice if it was balanced out in the movie, and not little pockets of it here and there.
I can now officially die in peace.
Fridays are meant for loving....
WHEN June is not being pissed off all the time by her loving yet annoying boyfriend. He had to leave early due to an army manning, and times like this sure tests the limits of your tolerance. I've been relatively passive these few days, but I reckon is more like the calm before the storm....
Random impromptu photoshoot for this budding model of my heart :)
That and my tee-dress from Korea makes its debut :P
